I'm really feeling the sewing love at the moment, and I'm in the middle of clearing the spare room to make myself a proper sewing space. More about that later, but as part of the Project 333 I thought I'd join in the Autumn sew-along over at the Stitcher's Guild sewing forum.
I chose navy/charcoal as the dark neutral, grey marl as the light neutral and a duck egg/greyed turquoise as the colour.
The 6 items are suggested as
Sew up as follows:
1 - a jacket or cardigan in the dark neutral.
In my opinion, you should sew this first as it sets the tone of the
whole collection.
2 - a bottom (trousers or skirt) in the dark neutral
3 - a top in the light neutral
4 - a bottom in the light neutral
5 - another jacket or cardigan in the colour
6 - a top in a "linking print" or the colour
My wardrobe edit revealed some gaps, so I'll be sewing
2 a departure from the 6, I have a lovely cotton linen fabric in greys with turquoise accents (Not as brown as it looks here)
4 charcoal trousers in Hot Patterns weekender bootcut
5 knit a duck egg cardigan
6 sew a duck egg top
